Climate Change

The switch to clean energy will take time which we do not have.

Technical improvement and good maintenance of internal combustion engines, especially for the heavy industries, will help. The turn of the automobile industry and market to hybrid and electric cars also naturally helps.

Meanwhile forests can keep Earth cool. Yet forest fires make the effect of CO2 emissions (rise), all the worse.

Therefore, to check global warming and climate change with immediate effect we need to work immediately against deforestation and for reforestation. Only vegetation and specifically forests can absorb excess CO2 before we can actually reduce emissions to the desired levels. Forests will do this successfully, effectively and efficiently, if we protect and support them.

Aerial means and specifically modern drones can address deforestation by surveillance and monitor of forest fire risks. Drones can provide due alert, early notice, data process and coordination of fire – fighting forces, ground and aerial.

Drones can also assist reforestation by dropping seeds and provide growth data for use by ground forces and other aerial devices (planes, blimps and balloons). These can drop necessary fertilizers and water for the plants.

If we (NASA) put such jaw dropping drone to Mars, we (the rest of us) can certainly do this on Earth and at comparative low cost.

The work of drones can be supported by satellite surveillance and monitor. If proper or special civil and commercial drones and satellites are not yet available for forest protection and the required CO2 emissions and environmental geo-control, then military drones and satellites must be marshalled for the task.

Police and military drones can also check for forest fire by arson, sabotage or other means of delinquent, criminal or terrorist activity.

On clean energy nuclear reactors will finally cover the increasing energy needs of humanity. Therefore, industries must therefore double down for the development of nuclear fusion which leaves minimal nuclear waste and eliminates radioactivity risks.

If nuclear fission development for military use took 5 (3) years to develop, we (the U.S.) can do this also for nuclear fusion development. The U.S. therefore must launch a new Manhattan Project for the development of nuclear fusion light reactors by the end of 2029 (if they have not done it already).

If the planet overheats, violent volatility (fluctuation) climatic and meteorological will continue and intensify. This means water evaporation from the oceans will increase humidity (H2O in the atmosphere). This will grow vegetation, absorb CO2 and cool the Earth back, but this will take time without human support.

So to check global warming in recap the planet needs to:

  1. Improve efficiency of internal combustion engines and control emissions by way of maintenance and development.
  2. Continue with hybrid and electric vehicles development production and networks.
  3. Police deforestation by forest fires or other means, with aerial (drones) and satellite means.
  4. Protect and grow forestation with aerial (drones) and ground means.
  5. Launch a new Manhattan Project for the development of nuclear fusion before the end of 2029.

Fossil fuels are valuable organic substances (compounds) which can be used for biochemical applications as they are. They cannot be wasted for combustion as until now. The combustion of fossil fuels did carry humanity historically to technological and economic modernity and civilisation and powered through to the industrial revolution. Ecology kicks in and humanity moves inevitably to new energy sources and new energy management and information technology.

Energy management is essential part of environmental and natural resources management. New energy management is necessary for climate change control and therapy. Εducation and knowledge in the relational and organisational features of energy is constructive in the development of management and information technology provides exactly that.
