We thought the real winners where America’s self-proclaimed left-wing plotters.
Conveying the message of the media to the voters. Instead of the message of the voters to the media. Plus a message which is extremist and woke (!)
Considering the cardinality of this information and communication infringement, carried with such noteworthy impertinence in a national election, in the U.S. and in the circumstances, we are truly surprised that the plotters escaped, as lightly as they did.
In fact they owe gratitude for this accomplishment to the magnanimity of the winners, the resilience of the American institutions and the grace of their candidate, Kamala Harris. For their defeat instead of the obliteration they deserved, they should be celebrating instead of commiserating right now.
The elementary moral and political lesson, that is drawn from this election, is that aspiring winners, should always rely to the will and the agenda of the political interest of the public and the people.
Never rely in the will and the agenda of the political interest of the media. Especially those, purporting to represent the public, without authority, delegation and legitimacy other than their own. Especially in societies as democratic and liberally robust as the American.
The less profound but no less fundamental technical lesson, is that liberty and democracy, are political institutions drawn on reason.
More than any other.
