Russia owns initiative in Ukrainian conflict — Serbian president.
European leaders do not consider themselves to be the smartest people. And they want to hear all views and analyses of the situation in Ukraine. Especially those coming from other leaders.
We all understand that Russia, Europe and Ukraine are not going anywhere. And that they are here to stay. In addition European leaders do not want war. Besides, this was, what the EU and the end of the Cold war, was all about, in the first place.
So our analysis is that Europe, Ukraine and Russia need to find an accord of cohabitation, collaboration and co-existence in this part of the world. And sort – out, their part in this continental end. This requires social, political and economic recalibrations from all parts and for the said common purpose. This is exactly what they want to do, with any helpful volunteers, hopefully and including from Serbia.
Some Russians believe some good intended Europeans are romantic international dreamers and chasers of Spanish windmills. These Europeans and this author, believe they are only realistic. So, who is right and whose analysis is the correct?
Let’s look at the facts:
- The policy and priority of Russia is to expand territorially in Ukraine and enforce its claims in Europe. So far successful.
- The policy and priority of Israel is to expand territorially in Gaza and the West Bank and enforce its claims in Lebanon. So far successful.
- The policy and priority of Yemen Houthi is to expand territorially and enforce their claims in the Red Sea. So far successful.
- The policy and priority of Turkey is to expand territorially and enforce its claims in the Aegean and in Cyprus. So far successful.
- The policy and priority of China is to expand territorially and enforce its claims in South China Sea. So far successful.
- The situation is no better in the U.S. with Mexico and further in Europe with the Middle East and North Africa, due to illegal undocumented migration and terrorism.
The question is, where does this leaves the allied, this meaning, the moderate, forces?
The answer is, so far in the losing side.
