Italy opens murder and manslaughter case after superyacht sinking.
The unusual death of Mike Lynch reminds of the unusual deaths of Robert Maxwell, the newsman, who was found dead overboard from his yacht in the Atlantic and of Jeffrey Epstein, the real estate high roller and sex offender, who was found hanged in his NY prison cell. All three of them had ties to politicians and other high profile people and featured with evidence to blackmail them. All had apparent or more, ties to secret agencies and all were in trouble.
The daughter of Robert Maxwell, Ghizlaine, was associate of Epstein and co-defendant in some of the cases against him.
Stephen Chamberlain, a long standing business associate of Mike Lynch, was fatally injured in a car accident, two days earlier. The pair were tried as co-defendants in a fraud trial over the sale of software company Autonomy to Hewlett-Packard for alleged inflated value of $11 billion (£7 billion). Following the sale of Autonomy in 2011, Lynch co-founded with former British intelligence officials in 2013, the cybersecurity firm Darktrace and Chamberlain was appointed chief financial officer.
Autonomy, which Chamberlain joined in 2005, was to use machine learning to analyze data from sources such as intercepted phone calls and emails. Also to fight cyberattacks using software that learns the behavioral patterns of every actor within an organization and detects unusual activity. Autonomy had also won high-profile contracts from UK and US government agencies, to provide infrastructure to analyze intelligence in the post-9/11 war on terror.
The media pre-emptively and uniformly, hyped a waterspout, as the cause of the death of Mike Lynch and other high profile guests on board the Bayesian. According to the media, the alleged waterspout had sank the 184ft Perini Navi built sailing super yacht, bringing down Lunch and other missing guests. Notwithstanding that waterspouts are extraordinary weather events, especially in the Mediterranean and especially static and concentrated in new hundred square feet only and one was not recorded near or during the loss of the Bayesian. Notwithstanding also that waterspouts as powerful and intense as to sink near 200 footer unsinkable sailing super yachts, and moreover in matter of minutes, are virtually unheard in maritime history and in the navigation records. Defiantly, the media pressed on with the hyped, so called, news reports on the cause of the yacht’s loss and while the dead were still missing, bodies had not been recovered, forensics and autopsies not conducted and evidence not collected and examined. Let alone that investigations leading to the detailed technical survey of the Bayesian and final maritime expert report on survey findings and on the loss of the ship, had not even commenced.
The ties of the media with dark outfits and their engagement in the bribery (corruption and complot) or blackmail (duress and extortion) of politicians and other high profile figures as well as multiple other forms of extremism, terrorism and organised crime, are common in appearance. Yet they are not common in the otherwise standard and mandatory, inquiry, investigation and prosecution by national and international law enforcement agencies and judicial authorities. Including prominently and patently, in Greece (see below).

Greece leaves spy services unchecked on Predator hacks.
This case refers to the implication of Intellexa, an espionage company, in the attempted or executed planting of Predator spyware on the phone of socialist leader Nikos Androulakis, a former member of the European Parliament. The company and individuals running and controlling Intellexa are sanctioned by the U.S. government on operations against the national security of the U.S., inter alia.
The case was followed by revelations that the government led by the conservative New Democracy party had tapped Androulakis’ phone with lawful state surveillance tools. The implication of the Greek government was drawn on the implication of the Greek Intelligence Agency (EYP) and its collaboration with Intellexa in spyware procurements and operations. Under the first legislative decree passed by the administration of Kyriakos Mitsotakis, EYP was placed under the authority and supervision of the Greek Prime Minister. Mitsotakis appears to have delegated at least some such authority, to his nephew and former secretary general to the prime minister, Gregory Dimitriadis. The latter is reported to have had social and/or business relations with associates of Intellexa.
Earlier efforts for the investigation of the Predator case by Greek and European Parliament Commissions, were dodged by EYP claiming privilege of secrecy. For this, Greece has received numerous condemnations from the EU Parliament for violations of human and civil rights and the rule of law. Nevertheless the implication of EYP in the spyware operations and collaborations with Intellexa (sanctioned by the U.S.), was dismissed by virtue of the early report of the prosecutor of the Supreme Court on the findings of the judicial investigation on the matter.
No charges for attempted or executed blackmail (threat, extortion or duress) of Nikos Androulakis by Intellexa, EYP or others, were pressed in the process.

Other Greek cases.
It is noteworthy that the prosecutor’s dismissal of the implication of EYP in the case of Intellexa, follows the dismissal of the application and report, which I filed on 3/12/2019 for suspected personal unlawful surveillance and monitor, the complot of the media with public procurement, state, party and union interests, corruption, unlawful state aid, terrorism, illegal migration and in my supplementary report, Covid.
On 5/8/2021 the competent prosecutor issued a ruling dismissing my application and report in that (a) I had not provided sufficient evidence for indication of violation of my privacy for referral of my case to trial and (b) EYP is covered by rules of secrecy. I have since referred the case to the European Prosecutor who advised that the case is not in their competence. Then I reported my case to the anti trust authorities of the U.S. Department of Justice on legal, foreign and international implications for the U.S.
The prosecutor’s dismissal of the implication of EYP in the case of Intellexa, also follows the filing of my complaint report dated 17/2/2020 against Yianis Varoufakis, former Greek Minister of Economy and Finance, for violation of privacy, official confidentiality and professional secrecy for his unlawful tappings of the sessions of the Eurogroup, possession and exploitation of the tapped material for personal political and economic ends, subversion of Greece’s international relations and for complicity in breach of duty and trust for the attempted Grexit, with national cost to Greece in excess 100 billion Euro. It follows also the referral of my said complaint by the Supreme Court to the Greek Parliament for investigation, as prescribed by the Greek law for the responsibility of Ministers, incepted by the Greek junta originally in 1968 and remaining in force, since. Finally it follows the inaction of the Greek Parliament in this case also, since.
