{"id":933,"date":"2024-04-04T12:13:38","date_gmt":"2024-04-04T12:13:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/economidesco.gr\/academic\/?p=933"},"modified":"2024-05-05T12:34:46","modified_gmt":"2024-05-05T12:34:46","slug":"athens-college-conference-the-society-of-knowledge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/economidesco.gr\/academic\/2024\/04\/04\/athens-college-conference-the-society-of-knowledge\/","title":{"rendered":"Athens College Conference \u201cThe Society of Knowledge\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On March 29<sup>th<\/sup>, 2024 we attended the academic conference titled <em>\u201c<\/em><em>The Society of Knowledge\u201d<\/em>, held and organized by Athens College under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Education and the National Kapodistrian University of Athens.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The function included interesting, contemporary and futuristic, presentations by students in Greek universities, alumni of Athens College and discussion panels by prominent academics in a variety of relevant topics in health science, natural and dietic sciences, art, ethics and humanities and technological sciences. Artificial Intelligence and the future of education were also topics in the discussion panels.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The conference was very interesting and informative. In 2025 Athens College run by the Hellenic American Educational Foundation (HAEF), celebrates 100 years from its inauguration in 1925. For this celebration the president of the College extended invitations to Athens College alumni who are students in universities abroad including in the U.S., for participation and presentation in the next 2025 conference on <em>\u201c<\/em><em>The Society of Knowledge\u201d<\/em> and for academic propositions on education for the next 100 years of Athens College, out to 200 years anniversary due in 2125, from everybody else.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On March 29th, 2024 we attended the academic conference titled \u201cThe Society of Knowledge\u201d, held and organized by Athens College under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Education and the National Kapodistrian University of Athens.
