Natural intelligence (NI) is the neurological (biochemical / biological) transformation of sensory actions to motor reactions drawing on neurological interaction and information. Natural intelligence revolves around the mental function of thinking with reason (logic) and emotion (psychology). Intelligence deals with the management and control of energy, power (dynamics), force (interaction), variation, dimension, motion and information. In plain word translation, NI is the acquisition and application of knowledge and skill via education and experience.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is the technical (technically produced) version of natural intelligence. In short AI, is the acquisition and application of knowledge and skill by technical devices via information (data) computing programs which run in the operating systems of these devices.

At the current level of technological development which is digital and electronic, artificial intelligence is the electronic (digital) transformation of sensory actions to motor reactions drawing on electronic interaction and digital structured information (data). Artificial intelligence involves information processing and computing devices which run operating and software systems and programs transforming (sensor) data input to (motor) data output. The output of AI systems is programmed by computation of data using algorithmic routines to generate data models drawn from patterns in data records (usually big data bases). AI systems are used in autonomous (robotics) or semi autonomous devices which are instrumental to human beings for the management and control of energy, power (dynamics), force (interaction), variation, dimension, motion and information.

In the line of cosmological evolution and in the Theory of Mind, here is how this works:

Energy, interchanges between quantum states of lower definition interactions (powers) and physical states of higher definition interactions (forces). In the dynamics of energy, density variation develops into dimension, therefore into space – time and transforms into derivative matter and mass. The energy configuration of mass is relative, dimensional, spatial and temporal. The energy configuration of mass develops into particle interaction, motion and information.

In biological organisms, the animal nervous system and especially the central nervous system deals predominantly with the control of motion. The control of motion is neurological and so information based. Neurological information draws from interchanges between sensory actions and motor reactions which develop into corresponding interactions.

Control is the transformational interaction from lower definition (quantum) states to higher definition (physical) states. Sensor is reflexive inbound function of relative (variable) approximation. Motor is reflective outbound function of relative (fixed) precision.

The neurology of primates developed by the control of the motion of the upper limp. The neurology of human beings developed by the control of the motion of the free hands. Accordingly, from human neurology develops the human mind.

Psychology is the mental function which deals with reflexive lower definition (unstructured) of sensor – motor interactions, therefore with (quantum) emotion and with calculation by approximation (of mobility and movement).

Logic is the mental function which deals with reflective higher definition (structured) of motor – sensor interactions, therefore with (physical) reason and with calculation by precision (of mobility and movement).

In the human mind, the intellectual combination of psychology and logic configures human intelligence.

Neurology, intelligence, motion and information deal with dimension and more specifically with time. In time, the certain past flows into the uncertain future in the running present. It happens also the reverse, where in time and in the running present, the uncertain future fixes into the certain past. In time where fixed states interchange with variable states and in the relativity of mass – energy dynamics, this transformation and derivative information have also spatial, besides temporal, dimensional attributes.

As mentioned, energy, motion, information, derivative neurology and human intellect, (emotional) in psychology and (rational) in logic, deal fundamentally with dimension and specifically with time. Put simply, human beings (and everything else) deal with what happens next, the variation of energy, the transformation of pre – post temporal change and the configuration of spatial difference. Technically we deal with (all) this by converting probability into programming. This temporal and spatial conversion is dimensional, interactive, reproductive, relational, organisational, conditional, formative and (transformative), functional, structural and systematic (condition).

Instrumentation is the dimensional transformation which emanates from the neurological control of the motion (of the hands) and which grows utilitarian and instrumental. Utility draws from metabolism and reproduction which are the two transformative functions (interactions and energy interchanges) in cellular biology. The utilitarian control of motion in human beings develops from the use of the power of the hands. Instruments are technical inventions and devices of the human mind for the utilitarian transformation of motion, dimension and information. This technical transformation is technological, economic and ecological (and moral and legal).

The main configurations of instruments are utensils, tools, weapons (and money). The use (employment and exploitation) develops constructive or destructive, manual, mechanical, automatic in a variety of devices and machines. Instrumentation therefore is utilitarian and servant multiplier of human power and force. Overall, instrumentation is extension (of the power of the free hands) used by human beings to master the dynamics of energy and manage power and force in technical interactions. Accordingly money is used in economic transactions and exchanges .   

Computers and networks are electronic devices which process information with programming routines to increase the definition of probability, project the physical configurations of quantum states and contract the approximation of the future events in the conception of the users. Computers are therefore information instruments which reinforce the natural intelligence of human beings. Information, communication, knowledge, dexterity and skill is acquired and applied with education and experience, research and experiment, principle and practice, lecturing and learning, amplifying mental function and human intelligence.

In conclusion, instruments, computers and networks and the information which they produce and process are multipliers of the dynamics of human interactions (powers and forces). The man – machine relation is master – management relation and computers are programming machines. Artificial intelligence (AI) is electronic form of imitation of mental thinking and reasoning in biochemical and biological natural intelligence (NI). Artificial intelligence devices are as interactive, intellectual, intelligent, and instrumental as their programmers and producers make them to be and as their users utilise them. 

P.S. The qualification of human (neurological) interactions as intelligent or superior in class, is not technically accurate or morally correct. In fact, all interactions, inorganic, organic, biological and human are intelligent in their prescribed energy sense. As mentioned, intelligence is derivative of energy and develops specifically, naturally and technically in the interchanges (sequences and frequencies) between quantum states and physical states. Thus, intelligence becomes typical and systematic property of motion, dimension and information from the earliest states of energy, the interactive relation of particles and from the evolution of the corresponding stages of gravitational, nuclear and electromagnetic mass.
