Information is property of energy.
Energy is a dynamic limitation which develops variation, this meaning change. Εnergy (and derivative mass) creates dimension, space and time. In space develops matter and mass. In time develops motion.
Variation in time is the conversion of potentiality to reality and of power into force. In the flow of time the potential future transforms to the real past in the running present.
Information is the configuration of dimension. In time (and in space) information describes the (real) past and prescribes the (potential) future in the (dynamic) present. Information is a limitation so prescription is by approximation (probability). In the (dynamic) present converge the (real) past and the (potential) future developing motion and mass.
Information therefore derives from the limitation (of change) which is dimensional. In motion (and mass), fluctuation in relational interactions and circulation (cyclicality) in organizational reproductions are illustrations of the condition of limitation in variation and more specifically in change (transformation, evolution etc.).
Information describes the past and prescribes the future in the present and so provides direction to the dynamics of time. The trail of information in motion compounds direction.
Information provides configuration and definition to the dynamics of energy (and of dimension). The configuration is dynamic because in the running present the flow of data and records continue to change, reality flows into potentiality and the reverse, potentiality freezes (crystalizes) into reality. Interchanges in plasma, gas, liquid and solid states of matter depending on density, temperature and pressure conditions, illustrate this. The same with the relativity of dimension in space and especially in time which denote the dynamics of energy, power and force.
In such dynamics, in dimension, in time and specifically in the interchange between quantum states and physical states, definition is relative to approximation (in space) and probability (in time). The definition and configuration of the past turns to estimation and calculation of the future, which information therefore describes and prescribes.
In the flow of dynamics, in the relativity of variation and dimension and in the currency of the present, the gradual transformation of the variable states of the future (in time) to the fixed states of the past (in space), and the reverse, denote the condition of change.
In space information develops (into) structure and form.
In time information develops (into) system and function.
Communication is interactive feature of information. Representation is reproductive feature of information.
